Hello DanS

I tried the make-live-device.sh script using the alpha DVD as source and it
is booting OK. I haven't tried an rsync'ed ISO yet. The dialogue from the
command looks very similar to yours, including the 'not mounted' lines
towards the end.

I know that this stick can boot from having used it with unetbootin a lot of
times, I have another stick that refuses to boot anything.

What error messages do you get on trying to boot? Does it just 'drop
through' to the currently installed OS? Or do you get a grub prompt?

Cheers
