well i have to say that I was surprise to hear that mixxx was unstable for you.
I am running 9.11 and for the new year I mixed for 3.5 hours non stop with flac, wav and mp3 and it was nice mix and really tight cross fade, using an external audio card without any delay nor crashes. And all that on a eeepc 701!! (you can read about it on ponnuki.net (self promotion here ;) ) The only thing that lag a little is the graphic creation of the song - apart from that everything has been quite solid. Of course I would like to have the latest mixxx too whitout having to wait for the next version of puredyne ~ but I guess that is coming fairly soon too !!!
