This is strange, with multicast snooping (on your switch), your switch should forward multicast traffic to all ports, and not block it. What is your switch model ? What I don't known is the relationship between igmp snooping of linux bridge and igmp snooping of a physical switchs. ----- Mail original ----- De: "Michael Rasmussen" <m...@datanom.net> À: pve-devel@pve.proxmox.com Envoyé: Vendredi 8 Mars 2013 17:31:24 Objet: Re: [pve-devel] corosync, multicast problem because of vmbr multicast_snooping enabled On Fri, 08 Mar 2013 17:20:53 +0100 (CET) Alexandre DERUMIER <aderum...@odiso.com> wrote: > > Just an idea, can you try to reboot your physicals switchs ? > Maybe old igmp snooping from bridge was propagated to your switchs... > (I think that igmp queries are send from linux bridge to all interfaces > connected to it) > > > But Indeed, that's not an easy update,i'm not sure it's possible to push it > by default to next kernel. > You are certain that it is not your switch which is causing problems? I have never seen multicast problems in my log files and my switch will block multicast traffic unless multicast snooping is enabled on the ports involved or the entire vlan. -- Hilsen/Regards Michael Rasmussen Get my public GnuPG keys: michael <at> rasmussen <dot> cc http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xD3C9A00E mir <at> datanom <dot> net http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xE501F51C mir <at> miras <dot> org http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0xE3E80917 -------------------------------------------------------------- "In matters of principle, stand like a rock; in matters of taste, swim with the current." -- Thomas Jefferson _______________________________________________ pve-devel mailing list pve-devel@pve.proxmox.com http://pve.proxmox.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pve-devel _______________________________________________ pve-devel mailing list pve-devel@pve.proxmox.com http://pve.proxmox.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pve-devel
