Both linux (kernel 3.X) && openvswitch support vxlan.

But I think that linux implementation is better (support vxlan through 
multicast),
and openvswitch you need to configure remote vxlan tunnel ip.

I never test vxlan (because I don't need it), so maybe i'm wrong.

But implement them in proxmox should not be too much difficult (just need time 
to test)
