Hi, *NB: This arose from the discussion at https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/image-templates-on-cephfs-shared-storage-only-appear-on-one-node.54984/ <https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/image-templates-on-cephfs-shared-storage-only-appear-on-one-node.54984/>*
We are using a 4-node Proxmox cluster, with a HCI Ceph cluster. The HA functionality also works really well, in that we can mark certain instances as HA, and have them fail seamlessly with node failure etc. However, one issue is that we use a library of KVM templates, for users to spin up machines - and that is stored on Ceph as well. So in theory, it should be HA, since Ceph is. However, because of the way Proxmox stores templates - if the node with the pointer to that template goes down - we lose any ability to use the template stored on Ceph anymore. How difficult would it be to add functionality to Proxmox, such that templates on shared storage (or Ceph) could be HA as well, and available across the cluster?
