I've talked to Intel. You can 'only' share Host OS's that are the same version
so Promox hosts only, red hat hosts only, windows hosts only. No mixing and matching, which kind of blows since some other sans out there let you mix and match host devices to shared storage. So it looks like the 3rd server will either get a chunk of a LUN and or a will run native proxmox and then virtualize Windows 2008 server. Thanks for all the responses. __________ David On 2012-09-25, at 3:13 AM, Patryk Benderz <[email protected]> wrote: > [cut] >> It is possible, but that does not mean it is reasonable to do it! > Of course, but that is another question. > PB > > > > _______________________________________________ > pve-user mailing list > [email protected] > http://pve.proxmox.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pve-user _______________________________________________ pve-user mailing list [email protected] http://pve.proxmox.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pve-user
