Hostname: Afaik this is not officially supported. I've done it myself, but it's not straightforward. Again, if the server is in a cluster it's going to be more difficult. If you have VZs, after changing the hostname you will have to move the /etc/pve/nodes/oldhostname directory to /etc/pve/nodes/newhostname and restart the services (or the server) or you will not be able to access the previous VZs. Again, that's how I did it, but afaik it's not officially supported to do so.
