Adding a little to Michael's response, it's not a "disk" what you would resize.

By default, not sure if at all, OpenVZ (aka CT) guests don't use disk images for storage. Instead, a part of your host's filesystem is assigned to the container, with specific quota. What you can do is resize that quota.
So, there is no vmdk file.
