Are you using NAT or bridge?
If you're using a bridge, your router will do the magic...if you're
doing NAT, then ... you might want to consider the bridge instead.
I'm using bridge and it still does not seem to be working for me. I can
access the port within my local network, but the port remains closed to
the outside. If I use that port on another standard desktop running
Ubuntu, the port opens just to the outside just fine.
