Hello, I have a disk array connected to my HA Proxmox infrastructure with 4 hosts on Fiber Channel and I configure the Thin provisionning on the LUNs. On Proxmox, I created the LVM storage with the Volum Group containing the PVs connected to the LUNs. With this method, I can't use 100% of the thin provisionning option because on Proxmox, the LVM storage reserve 100% allocated disks to the VMs.
For example, on my disk array, I created a LUN of 400 Gb, only 260 Gb are allocated. On the Proxmox infra, there is 340 Gb used on the total of 400 Gb. So, I can't benefit from the thin provisionning option entirely. Do you know if there is a better method concerning the storage to configure and use regarding a disk array connected on Fiber Channel to benefit from the thin provisionning option please ?
