Hello,

following the guide
   http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Ceph_Server

i am in the stage creating OSDs.

For testing I use some little bit aged HP DL360 servers whose disks are driven
by the cciss kernel module.
The disk devices located below /dev/cciss/*
In the web view they are shown as
   /dev/cciss!c0d0
   /dev/cciss!c0d1
   ...

Trying to create OSDs from them fails using the web gui (Error: No such block
device ... (500)).
Using the command line
   pveceph createosd /dev/cciss/c0d1
produces an error "unable to get device info for 'cciss/c0d1'".

Is there a rescue/workaround for me ?

Kind regards
   Petric
