Here my notes from April from inplace upgrade without shutdown vm,

I need to complete and test them again

convert cluster.conf to /etc/corosync/corosync.conf
generate /etc/corosync/authkey
#cp /etc/corosync/corosync.conf
#touch /proxmox_install_mode
#apt-get update
#apt-get remove clvm
#apt-get dist-upgrade
#apt-get install clvm
rm /proxmox_install_mode
#killall -9 corosync
#corosync
#/etc/init.d/pve-cluster restart
#/etc/init.d/pvedaemon restart
#/etc/init.d/pveproxy restart
#/etc/init.d/pvestatd restart

It's possible to upgrade all nodes to jessie/proxmox 4.0, at the same time,

A wiki entry should be extremely useful, I would try by myself, but I do not
have enough hardware at the moment to make the test, perhaps in some days I can
get new hardware and try it out.
