I converted successfully the Linux guest using:
/qemu-img convert SRV.vmdk -O qcow2 SRV.qemu /
When I try to startup the VM in Proxmox I obtain the following error
message:
/Running as unit 101.scope./
/Could not access KVM kernel module: No such file or directory/
/failed to initialize KVM: No such file or directory

Since your vmdk seems to be a flat file, you essentialy need this
command :
qemu-img convert SRV-flat.vmdk -O qcow2 SRV.qemu
