AFAIK, it's not possible to convert windows from uefi to bios :(

maybe as workaround, create a small boot drive with grub as bootloader, to boot 
the windows system ?

I need (I would like to...) virtualize an existing win2008 installation 
that is currently on uefi hardware. 

If you have suggestions on how to migrate an (bare metal) uefi install 
to a SeaBIOS proxmox install, then perhaps you could share..?
