This is the "big hammer" appraoch to getting pvfs2 correctly configured on some ppc64 machines. In my experience (limited to our SLES 9 BGL login nodes), -Werror didn't matter as long as you had -m64 in your CFLAGS. However, Murali's experience on Fedora PPC64 suggests that -Werror is too picky. Please go ahead and add -Werror if that's what it takes on x86_64. We'll figure out a way to make Fedora PPC64 work. ==rob -- Rob Latham Mathematics and Computer Science Division A215 0178 EA2D B059 8CDF Argonne National Labs, IL USA B29D F333 664A 4280 315B _______________________________________________ Pvfs2-developers mailing list [email protected] http://www.beowulf-underground.org/mailman/listinfo/pvfs2-developers
