Hi all,
I thought I will bring this article to the attention of this list since
much of the code in bmi-tcp relies on non-posix interfaces (or perhaps
deprecated posix interfaces?). Especially with regards to using routines
such as gethostbyname etc and using protocol dependant interfaces (ipv4
specific). Much of what the article talks about was completely new to me!
Of course whether the protocol independant interfaces are supported or not
on the BG/L is something I have no clue about..

On the brighter side of things, using the examples in the article to fix
bmi-tcp should not be too hard but I dont wish to do that if someone has
already done that or are planning to do so.

Before I forget, the article can be found here
http://people.redhat.com/drepper/userapi-ipv6.html
Thanks,
Murali
