Thanks for fixing this. I hacked it together in BMI to give Sam a
way to force the socket closed, but obviously missed the "right" way
to do it. I recall thinking that tcp_forget_addr() was doing too
much, and that we could just leave the method_addr extant while
destroying only the socket. Oops.
