Your plan makes sense, your script looks ok (I was hoping maybe you
forgot to rm the old file :> ), and you showed us some files in
progress doing the right thing.

here's one thing we can do: send us the output of pvfs2-statfs.  Maybe
one server in particular has no free space, or maybe some other
resource is getting used up.  At least it will give us a place to
start.
