We do only have a few configurations.  We test the kernel interface on
two machines (gil, fc5; and lain, debian/testing), mpi-io on another.
How are you getting immediate completion? via CFLAGS or configure
commands when you build, or is it something ib-specific?  Definitely
want to make sure we catch at least these regressions if they come
back.

Hm. we could probably hack something up. There's also an RDF feed that
