I'm able to reproduce this on ppc64 with both 2.6.0 and HEAD, so the branch you're using turns out not to be the issue. I'll work with Murali (try his patch :-)) to get this fixed.

I actually just did a checkout of the trunk. If things arent yet working on ppc64 would this explain the ability for libpvfs2 stuff to work while the vfs isnt? Or are we just talking kernel module stuff not working?
