Apparently each NIC has a favorite MTU for performance.  Original
mthca were good at 1k and lousy at 2k.  The new NICs (and yours
apparently) are good at 2k.  I guess a config file param is the way
to go.  Do you know how to go about this?  If you spin a patch, I'll
make it pretty and put it into the tree.
