No DDs around these parts that I know of.

Your package looks pretty good to me. build-deps all look sane,
debian/rules looks like it will work (i never did get the hang of
hooking into module-assistant).

(If you need "a PVFS guy" to vouch for you on debian-mentors, I can do
that)

I actually am doing this work in conjuction with the PDSI SciDAC
project (http://www.pdsi-scidac.org/) and we have funding to do this
for years. We currently have a local debian repository that we
maintain for doing testing and distribution among the PNNL lab. Also
we have built and tested pvfs packages using module-assistant and
dpkg-buildpackage for i386 amd64 and ia64 (there isn't any reason why
it wouldn't work for more we just don't have those architectures to do
the testing).

I'd love to have debian pick this one up and any other parallel file
systems I work on. I have an updated lustre package for etch and am
currently working on porting to 2.6.20 unstable.

Thanks,
- David Brown
