What is the status of setuid bit support in PVFS these days?

super.c indicates that there is a "suid" mount option. PVFS seems to accept this, but the option does not show up in the mount output once the file system is mounted.

With or without that mount option, any attempts to chmod with the setuid bit return EINVAL. If kernel logging is turned on, this shows up in the kernel logs: "Attempting to set setuid bit (not supported); returning EINVAL."

I happen to be trying this on a 2.6.15.4 kernel with the trunk version of PVFS at the moment.

thanks!
