Really! Hmmm. That's odd, because the version I have doesn't have any instances of pjmp in the code at all! Reviewing that routine I don't see the code that does the check. I wonder if I'm using a bad version or something.

No that's my mistake. I was looking at a different version when I wrote that, and there were things in the state machine code I thought I had committed to HEAD. I've attached a patch of HEAD that should have the things I'm talking about, and should make the pjmp stuff work a lot better for you. I'm committing this patch as well.
