I think I can answer your questions.
1.- What kind of information is fetched from the server in the
client-side in this request?
The configuration data from the fs.conf file.

2.- Is it necessary get that information of each server, both
meta and data servers?
It's not required, but that is the default mode. See #4.
3.- I understand that servers configuration is cached in the
client side when they are initialized, is it right?
That is correct.
4 .- And last, can a particular server configuration be
different to another conf. server?
The configurations should be the same. The default mode is that the
client requests the config from all servers and validates that they
are the same.
