The attached patch will adjust the required parameters inside pvfs2,
basically creating a new file system type (i.e. pvfs28). This is useful for
allowing a single client access to multiple PVFS2 file systems, especially
if they have protocol differences. An example of this is running a PVFS
2.6.3 and a 2.8.2 client on the same machine. 

 

This patch really isn't useful for main stream CVS, but could be useful for
other purposes (migrations, testing, etc.)
