Makes sense to me. I don't see any reason to keep other than tar files of prior releases. Perhaps you keep the existing CVS repo around for a while so that people have time to transition? -- Rob

Hello PVFS/OrangeFS community.

We are planning to move our code repository over from CVS to SVN in the near future. When that happens there would be a different URL for access and possibly other small differences. We will not be changing any level or degree of access to the code, other than using SVN rather than CVS and possibly moving some things around. We are considering keeping a copy of the release versions in CVS if there is any demand for it.
