Hi Luke Glad you're having good experinces with PVFS so far. I don't think there is anything close to a consensus for the best SAN hardware to use for high-availablity PVFS. We're getting some hardware in-house to experiment with in preparation for some larger deployments. We might have some good insight to offer you after we get our hands dirty. I'm only a little familiar with the hardware out there these days, but I would ensure that a LUN can see all disks for starters. After that, it's "only" a matter of tuning. ==rob -- Rob Latham Mathematics and Computer Science Division A215 0178 EA2D B059 8CDF Argonne National Lab, IL USA B29D F333 664A 4280 315B _______________________________________________ Pvfs2-users mailing list [email protected] http://www.beowulf-underground.org/mailman/listinfo/pvfs2-users
