Just noticed that the kernel and kernel source tree installed via YUM
are not the same levels. Guess this could have something to do with it!

kernel-smp-2.6.15-1.2054_FC5
kernel-devel-2.6.18-1.2257.fc5

I'll try and rectify this situation and recompile it again.

Yeah is does is states:

pvfs2: disagrees about version of symbol struct_module

I'll goolge that, see if anything come up.
GCC Version is:
gcc version 4.1.1 20060525 (Red Hat 4.1.1-1)

No idea what the kernel was compiled with thou'?

Hi David,

I have seen this on another project when the configure uses a  
different gcc than what was used to compile the kernel. Does dmesg  
have anything about loading pvfs2.ko?
