I'm about to test the pvfs2 filesytsem on our setup, which comprises two
i/o servers also configured to be metadata servers and clients. In
addition there are other clients. Clients should use the kernel
interface rather than the libpvfs2 library. However, the performance of
the system using the kernel interface drops to an unusable speed while
it seem to be fine with the libpvfs2 based tools. What can be the issue
here?
Kernel (for all participiating servers and clients) is 2.6.21 on an
amd64 debian system.
