[Pvfs2-users] make problem on ppc64

Since I have my native ppc64 world working now (64-bit debian etch on  
the G5 cluster), I thought I'd have a run at pvfs2 2.7.

Configure went fine, but make appears to go into an infinite loop;  
100% cpu use, no syscalls executed (according to strace).

sound familiar to anyone?
