Where did you install Berkeley DB? PVFS configure tries to guess
where Berkeley DB is installed, but if it can't find it in one of the
expected paths, it gives up. You can specify the path yourself with:
./configure --with-db=/usr/local/
-sam

Hi all,
When I install pvfs2, there is a following message in the result
of ./configure: checking for db library... configure: error: could
not find DB libraries
But when I install Berkley DB, the error remains! The version of
Berkley DB I installed is 4.6.21, and in the directory of
build_unix, I ran ../dist/configure, make and make install. Then I
reboot the system.
Would you please tell me is there something wrong above?
Thanks!
