Hi friends,
I am trying to configure PVFS2 for a single host according to A Quick
Start Guide to PVFS2.
#uname -a
{Linux suse64 2.6.16.53 #2 SMP Wed Jan 9 11:59:44 EST 2008 x86_64 x86_64
x86_64 GNU/Linux
}
First, I did
#/usr/local/bin/pvfs2-genconfig /etc/pvfs2-fs.conf
I used default values for almost all the entries, except for hostnames,
I used both testhost.
The last line of its response was
{
Writing fs config file... done
}
I didn't see
{
Writing 1 server config file(s)... Done.
Configuration complete!
} as mentioned in the Guide section 3.1
Then, I did
#/usr/local/sbin/pvfs2-server /etc/pvfs2-fs.conf -f
I got error message:

[S 01/15 18:19] PVFS2 Server on node suse64 version 2.7.0 starting...
[E 18:19:41.687667] Configuration file error. No host ID specified for
alias suse64.
[E 01/15 18:19] Could not find handle range for host (null)
[E 01/15 18:19] Please make sure that the host names
in /etc/pvfs2-fs.conf are consistent
[D 01/15 18:19] PVFS2 Server: storage space created. Exiting.

I do not have /etc/pvfs2-server.conf. Which script should I use to
generate it?
I tried to use
#/usr/local/bin/pvfs2-genconfig /etc/pvfs2-fs.conf /etc/pvfs2-server.conf
I got the error messages
{
Bad arguments. See -h for help.
}
Is there anything wrong with what I did? Thank you.
