I'm making progress. The corruption stops (for some time) after I
restarted pvfs2-server on cluster2. So it should be pvfs2-server that
corrupts data. Now help would really be appreciated : why on this
machine ? 

Both are the exact same hardware and software configuration
except for one detail : cluster2 has 8 GB RAM and cluster1 has 16 GB.

Can it be the origin of the culprit? Some buffering error on the
machine with the smallest memory size ?
