Hi here is my problem now:
After the instalation with
DA-Master1/usr/src/pvfs2#:./configure
--with-kernel=/lib/modules/2.6.26-2-amd64/build/
DA-Master1/usr/src/pvfs2#:make
DA-Master1/usr/src/pvfs2#:make install
DA-Master1/usr/src/pvfs2#:make kmod
DA-Master1/usr/src/pvfs2#:make kmod_install
I did
DA-Master1:~#/usr/local/sbin/pvfs2-server /etc/pvfs2-fs.conf -f
only changing the hostname for DA-Master1 and when i try to run
DA-Master1:~#/etc/rc.d/init.d/pvfs2-server start
to manually start the server, the result is No such file or directory.
On this machine pvfs2-server is in /usr/local/sbin/pvfs2-server so I did
DA-Master1:~#/usr/local/sbin/pvfs2-server start
and the result is
[S 05/24 14:32] PVFS2 Server on node DA-Master1 version 2.8.1
starting...
[E 14:32:22.039074] Failed to find global config file start. This file
does not exist!
[E 14:32:22.039091] Error: Please check your config files.
[E 14:32:22.039099] Error: Server aborting.
[D 14:32:22.039107] *** server shutdown in progress ***
[D 14:32:22.039113] [*] halting logging interface
And that means that I can't start the server!!!!
