Hong,The error below indicates someone is already using the port you specified. (possibly a pvfs2-server is still running). As far as the pvfs2-fs.conf issue, it's possible the "rouge" pvfs2-server is running and you connected to that and it had an older version of pvfs2-fs.conf loaded.
