Hi !

First of all many thanks for providing me the new source code. I have done some 1st testing, but I'm not able to mount the share by the kernel module and I'm getting these errors in the client logs: "... [E 17:22:28.931411] pvfs2-client-core shutting down. [E 17:23:31.084619] PVFS Client Daemon Started. Version 2.8.6-orangefs-2012-07-04-142211 [D 17:23:31.094356] [INFO]: Mapping pointer 0x7fcac1547000 for I/O. [E 17:24:17.298367] Failed to mount via host ib://doppler18:3335 [E 17:24:17.298388] Mount failed: Connection timed out .." I will do a cleanup tomorrow and try again and report back. Using the native pvfs2-cp, pvfs-ping and pvfs2-ls commands works though .. A mount by pvfs2fuse gives me read only access to the previous copied (using ..pvfs2-cp..) file. Though I'm not able to touch any file on the file system. The error displayed: " Resource temporarily unavailable .." I have also noticed, that one of the storage nodes dies away after usig the client/kernel-based mount trial. The mount expires then .. These are my 1st reports, I will do some further clean installation, but perhaps the error I'm writing about is well known .. Greetings from Austria Have a nice day, Thank you, Vlad _______________________________________________ Pvfs2-users mailing list [email protected] http://www.beowulf-underground.org/mailman/listinfo/pvfs2-users
