As of now, Gentoo provides 4.8.30 as the latest stable BerkeleyDB version, I use it for all our setups with OrangeFS-2.8.6. Versions from 5.0, 5.1 and 5.2 branches are available, but masked for testing, I haven't tried to build and use OrangeFS with them. Best regards, Andrew Savchenko
