Hello all,

I've read
http://www.pvfs.org/cvs/pvfs-2-7-branch.build/doc/pvfs2-ha-heartbeat-v2/pvfs2-ha-heartbeat-v2.php
which I more or less understand, but I would like/need another solution.

2 pvfs2-servers both meta-data-client
1 backup if 1 of the 2 fails.

backup has 2 partitions with backup data from node1 and node2
backup gets the data from node[1-2] with rsync, data traffic is quite low,
40Mb/s, during 6/24, rsyncing off-hours eventually is acceptable.

If node1 fails it should mount the partition which holds the data of node1 and
start pvfs2-server
If node2 fails it should mount the partition which holds the data of node2 and
start pvfs2-server

Kind regards

Henk Schoneveld
