OK, so there's no bsd kernel module. You'll have to use fuse, and I don't know how many folks have done pvfs-fuse on BSD. If you look back in the archives (way way back) you can find a FreeBSD 4.4 or 5.0 user who gave it a shot. Sam Lang got things cleaned up for Darwin at one point, but that was easily 5 years ago. So, I think you can, if you haven't already, give it a shot with likely success.
