Thanks for inquiring about OrangeFS V3.  As of right now, we don't have a
formal release date, but I can tell you that we are diligently working
towards that end.  We are changing the basic infrastructure to accommodate
replication of data and metadata, which means that we are reworking almost
every piece of code in the system, a daunting task!  However, these changes
have been in the works for the last 3 years, with heavy development being
done in the last year or so.  I can also tell you that we are aiming
towards the end of 2015.

Let me gather more information and get back with you on how we plan to keep
failures in sync.
