Hi Ali

No, but I did manage to get GPFS up and running on a cluster of Isilon
1920s. Very fast with the Infiniband back end. :-)

Just be very careful about how you boot, and which partitions you want to
lose, just in case you ever want to go back to OneFS.

Might be better to sell the Isilon bits, and use the funds to buy some
generic SuperMicro instead?

Hi,

I wonder if anybody has installed orangefs on old (end of support) isilon
(36nl) nodes.
Mostly I care to know if, first, it's possible to do. Second if there is
any heads up,
we need to be aware of.

Isilon runs BSD, just FYI.

Thanks,
