I am running a clean install of mythbuntu. I was using an internal pvr150 but the interference was to much, so I switched to a hauppauge pvr-usb2 29xxx. I have not been able to get it working. I installed the driver and firmware following the directions here ( http://www.isely.net/pvrusb2/pvrusb2.html) and here ( http://www.isely.net/pipermail/pvrusb2/2006-October/001064.html).
When I plug in the pvr-usb2 my dmesg reads as following: [ 355.502334] usb 5-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 6 [ 356.033603] usb 5-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 7 [ 356.329207] usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 5 [ 356.449035] usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71 [ 356.672730] usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71 [ 356.888433] usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 6 [ 357.008277] usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71 [ 357.231967] usb 1-1: device descriptor read/64, error -71 [ 357.447672] usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 7 [ 357.855110] usb 1-1: device not accepting address 7, error -71 [ 357.966959] usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 8 [ 358.374400] usb 1-1: device not accepting address 8, error -71 This has me stumped. A point in the right direction would be appreciated. -- Travis -- Travis _______________________________________________ pvrusb2 mailing list [email protected] http://www.isely.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pvrusb2
