Hmmm... so you think it is drawing more power to pull the signal from the vcr machine? It is rock solid (it seems) when capturing TV signal, or watching tv. I have another brick around here somewhere. Will see if I can dig one up that is big enough for the job.

In addition, Hauppauge devices (along with their power supplies) tend to be a bit temperature sensitive. Keep them cool.
