Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what is ComputerAge? For a while I
had convinced myself that it was a web site, but I guess that's wrong. I
did a bit spelunking to figure it out myself, but no dice.
Curiously,

Subject: [pws] crashing squeak with ComputerAge
Hi,
in our project we have started using ComputerAge with lots of
enthousiasm. However, we have encountered a feature which resulted in
the crash of squeak and the loss of some data on one of the pages.
Problem: When accessing an uploaded powerpoint file (blabla.ppt) using
netscape, netscape opens an open/save dialog box instead of offering the
possibility to open the file with powerpoint (it looks like the wrong
MIME type is sent). If you choose cancel
instead of save, nothing happens, but squeak crashes! This does not
happen in Internet Explorer nor in Scamper. Also the page where the
document was referenced is mangled. However this probably because it was
the last page changed.
Any ideas how to fix this.
Environment:
- Squeak 2.6 VM with ComputerAge on Linux 2.2.10 (SUSE)
- Clients: Windows NT with Nescape 4.5 and 4.7, LINUX 4.61
