I'm currently running the released Squeak 2.7 image.  I moved from a v2.2
image and v2.0 vm like you're using and had no issues.

I am running it but it is an ancient system - Squeak 2.2 stuff
running on the squeak2.0 binary. I keep wondering what to move to
next.
