I'm going to forward this on to the PWS mailing list. It could be that 
you don't have the patched VM. Memory can be a problem with Swiki. How 
much memory do you have. The main problem is the history. Each history 
request reads in the entire file as a String. So, if a search engine 
tried to get the history of a huge page several times over, Swiki might 
run out of memory. 20 megs seems to take care of that problems. I would 
recommend 12 megs at a minimum.

Have you tried serving the file icons and the uploads from a different 
web server. This increases performance and reliability. It may not be 
necessary, but you might as well try it.
