WebDAV would be great, but I agree, that a browser-only solution is also
necessary. I've played around a little with WebDAV (was able to create a
Windows "Web Folder" on a Swiki, but that's about it). WebDAV is nice
protocol with a lot of features. A complete implementation would be some
work I think. Another solution is good ole FTP. Not as robust as WebDAV,
but there are a lot of nice client tools out there that allow drag n drop
access. IE 5.0 allows drag and drop to FTP out of the box (but I don't know
how (or if) it handles authentication.
All three options would be great!
