I can't remember whether I mentioned this site to this group when I first
found it a few months ago; I think I did.

At any rate, I am impressed with the community that is being formed here
using, basically, a very similar model to Swiki. As a teacher who requires
his literature majors to learn HTML so they can put up various forms of texts,
this site offers a very attractive model. I am considering using my Swiki for
similar pages in my classes.

So, I wanted to tell you about this site in case you hadn't seen it. I also
wanted to ask if anyone is doing something similar with students (by "something
similar" I mean creating personal essays -- NOT discussions of class materials
whether technical or not). Finally, if you have information about what is
driving
this site and whether or not it came from the Swiki model, I would be
interested.
