Yes, my remark was not meant to be taken seriously in any way - hence the smiley!

All OSes have their strengths and weaknesses and even if I personally would not choose 
MacOS as a
server OS (for different reasons) that does not mean that it can not be used 
successfully for that
purpose. For example - one of the most secure way to host a webserver is using a Mac.

I also think that the "instability" of Minnow is more or less "understood", but I do 
not currently
remember what the problem was (Sockets, VM or whatever) - I do not think it was OS 
related.
